Warrior

What is a warrior?

Many men and women claim to be this for God, but He showed me this, this morning, and I don't think we grasp it fully. I think we think if we just love God we are a warrior.

A warrior never takes any offenses in their heart.
A warrior lays down its right to be right.
A warrior never gives up on its call or its assignment.
A warrior is teachable and reachable.
A warrior never complains about its assignment.
A warrior’s first cause is its cause and will not let anything come and distract them from its purpose and mission.
A warrior will fight for love and never give up.
A warrior will not take record of wrong.
A warrior will not put itself above others.
A warrior does not count the cost. They just pay the price.
A warrior understands they may die, but they give their life for the cause. 
A warrior never jumps to conclusions. They weigh a matter, and they bring it before others and are slow to speak.
A warrior guards its heart as it knows that it is what the entire war is about.
A warrior will point you right to the cross, not to reasoning.
A warrior will cast down everything that opposes love.
A warrior will fight for the unity of the Spirit. 
A warrior picks up its cross every day.
A warrior forsakes all for one they are committed to.
A warrior does not gossip, backbite, or try to do things their way.
A warrior does not entangle himself in the affairs of this life.
Are you really a warrior?

God make me a real warrior for your kingdom. Help me to crucify everything that would make me want to give up or give in. Strengthen my hands for battle. Make me a living sacrifice solely acceptable to you. Change my heart and give me yours. Give me the endurance to run this race without wavering. Make me an authentic warrior bride.
