Hope of Glory

God’s plan is to fill us with Him. Jesus was fully God and fully man. God wants to fill us continuously with His oil. It is the Glory inside of us that gets people stirred up. People love it or people hate it. The Gospel is about becoming one with Him, and let no man put them asunder. As a man leaves his father and mother, Jesus left His Father’s house for His bride, the Church.

Jesus is saying to His bride: Take up your cross. It is your covenant marriage ring. And follow Me. But we can never enter into the kingdom of God unless we become like little children. A child trusts all the time. A lot of us hold onto things. They don’t give all to Jesus but they want the blessings. They sacrifice in the flesh, but God wants them to sacrifice in the heart. He wants a circumcised heart where we love God with all of it.

Do we stay as babies or let Christ be formed in us? The World is waiting for the manifestation of this Glory! The Glory shall cover the Earth through His Body. Every tribe and nation, every tongue that called on Jesus and picked up their cross shall call Him their God. Just like Solomon filled the temple with gold, God will fill His temple with His gold, the Glory. Gold represents the Glory, and we now are the temple of God. So, it’s Christ in us, the hope of Glory. The Glory in us is the hope of the nations. It is the hope in darkness.

Some people call Him their husband, but they cheat on Him all the time. Because they are not faithful, they can’t carry His Glory as His Glorious bride. When you are full of His Glory, everybody knows who your husband is. He is the Glory, so you are always with Him. He is always with us, the Glory, the Truth, the Love. It is all Him. We see many parallels of His exchange. This is the Gospel of the Kingdom.

Everywhere you go, you will see both (Christ and you) walking together. The cross is where we get our new name and identity. Our covenant is in the blood. His Glory is a byproduct of our communion and faithfulness to Him. We cannot be eating at two tables! Just as God divorced Israel and turned them over to Babylon, if we commit adultery with our idols, He will turn us over to the world for destruction of our flesh and hopefully the saving of our spirit. He said, “Come out from among them. Separate to Him, the Glory of God.” We will be a faithful bride.

The hope in Him has to do with trusting and resting in Him. There is no way to be connected to His Glory if we are married (joined) to something else. The invisible God lives inside of us who are born again. He is inside of us. Christ is being formed in us as a seed of incorruption. The manifestation of the sons of God will happen. It is the power of the Gospel unto salvation. So as a man finds his wife, so Jesus finds His bride as the Spirit draws them to Him. He is the head of the church. He is a jealous God so He wants to be in intimate relationship with us, with our heart, mind, and soul. This is where life is. He wants you back in the garden eating. From Him He is the tree of life. Sit under His tree in the shade as it gives fruits in due season and the fruits fall right in your lap as you abide with and in HIM, and you can just eat the fruit. As He covers us in His Glory, we put on Christ. Make no provision for idols and give Him all for all, and this is a great union that God has ordained for us to walk in Him and with Him. So when we are walking in the Spirit, we are sitting at His table.

God put the brain in the head. The head is Christ. The brain should be His. That is the organ that runs the entire vessel as we submit to Him. We live and breathe and have our being. We think like Him, we walk as He walks, so it is with Jesus and the church: walking as one. The two shall become one. It’s the most amazing thing, this co-union with Christ. So when we do take communion, it is not just an act. It is real. Bone of His bone. Flesh of His flesh. Spirit of His Spirit. This is the hope we have. Let us have this mind in us. Christ in us – the hope of Glory.
